Lenzi and James Visser
win the opening of the Freeride World Championship in Portugal
The Brazilian Alessander Lenzi was
the winner of the category Stand-up in the opening of 2nd IFWA Freeride
World Championship in the beach of Super tubes in Portugal. The event
had waves varying from middle 3 to 6fts, great public and an impeccable
organization. With that victory Lenzi open way to conquest of an I
title unpublished in his career. In second place it was the current
world champion French Pierre Maixent.
In the category sit-down the victory was of the African
South James Visser, that also made the great final
with the African South Jimmy Visser. With that victory he breaks an
invincibility of lives than two years of his father's.
The event had a total of 36 participants of
9 countries.
